Vision and Purpose

Back in 2004 I worked with my friend Michael to find my vision statement and purpose statement. I have been tweaking it over the last couple of years and wanted to post it on my Zaadz page somewhere because I need a place to refer to it, and to evolve it, as I learn more about and draw closer to my deep values.

Michael's advice recently concerning this was, "...the Vision Statement is your exclusively, personal ultimate imaginable state of "BEING." In most cases it is unattainable by we mortals since it is so far out there!"

So here they are:

Vision
I am fearlessly awake, beautifully clear, and moved to contentment in the stream of existence.

Purpose
My purpose is to notice and appreciate what is important in life and relax in God's flow as I write and work for a better world.

alive but wet

To go for soft warm walks over the hard smooth stone, this is longing, bare feet on the ocean sand, rain beading on a leaf. Can a datum stand in this august waterfall, the slender  river skipping down the bones of my spine?

Alive but wet, sabi clicks like teeth on a comb, my hair long
gone.

You could focus on the snap of broken promises, or you could glue the words instead to a good intention, wait for the adhesive of acceptance to dry.

We hope to hold the rain up; we ask for pardon, we imagine that God would save us from a tsunami, or at least make our death painless. Or maybe the tsunami is metaphorical, maybe all that rising water is potential, is posterity overtaking us...

My aspiration is modest, to be a memory in the mind of God.

Fuzzy Plant

Dizzy in the spiral, the waves, the storm of ideas...

Can integral theory be integrated into my Velcro neural fabric? Brain cells catch on other things, collect the dust of experience... all the way along, all the way down, all the way up, all the way east and west, and then the dimension of time, catching and releasing, the movement of a body along the plane, the plain.

A release into spaceless nature, beyond the grasp of anything that can grasp....how well this one simple fuzzy plant takes away thought...
